where to start.
if you take a look at the bottom of the blog, you will notice quite the list of vendors. this was a production. and rightly so, considering evan & kyna are magnets for all-people uniquely talented. from the art postcards painted by evan’s mother to the folksy sultry voice of the maid of honor, this wedding was a compilation of two things 1) people who love & support kyna and evan and 2) and individuals who know how to throw a party & enjoy a celebration.
evan & kyna began their wedding day with a traditional chinese tea ceremony at the westin in san francisco. once they were doused with words of marital wisdom, monetary blessings & quality time with close family members, they cruised south to woodside for their western ceremony & reception. the mountain terrace housed their six-hour reception. the night began with toasts from the loving fathers and a tri-tip, salmon, eggplant parmesan feast. although the weather had its own agenda that evening, the guests crowded into the indoor reception hall for toasts, pie, photo booth, scrapbooking, slideshow and dancing to one of the more impressive djs i have heard. outdoors, for those brave enough to face the mountaintop fog, were firepits with s’mores, an LED light show under the trees, and of course, the ice cream truck and midnight taco-truck. and for those who know how exciting it is to wear THE dress on your wedding day, kyna out did us all with five THE dresses. and she killed it every time.
oh, and to top the mountain top off. i was able to work with mariell rahmani again. just one of the best wedding coordinators in the bay area. no big deal.
