rachel + brendan informed me early on that rain follows them wherever they go. so it was no surprise to them that the first rainy day in the central valley in months would be on their wedding day. as everyone knows, rain on your wedding day is a symbol of luck. well, i am not a believer in good luck vs bad luck, but i am a believer that rain is so flippin’ romantic. if i could have had it rain on my wedding day, i would have been so giddy. sure its not the ideal when you have planned for your reception to be outdoors under the stars, but with a lot of quick thinking and help from their coordinator, lynnie, they were able to throw the wedding day they envisioned despite the downpour. and no sooner were they married that the sun decided to grace us with its warm glow.
