there were two (out of a million to chose from) remarkably special things about jonathan + cynthia’s wedding that stood out to me:
one) both sets of parents were overwhelmingly full of joy for the union of their children. it was evident to everyone who attended this wedding that these two families were bursting with happiness the entire day. perhaps it was because they had waited for this moment for a while (jonathan + cynthia have known one another for years) or perhaps it was because the prayers they had prayed for their children’s spouse had come true. either way, there were buckets of tears of joy all day long that could not be described as anything less than precious.
two) and. the vendors.
it was as if the vendor-gods were looking down on jonathan + cynthia during their planning and hand chose the best group to work with. from the time i arrived for hair + make-up until the time the dj announced the grand departure, i cannot stop talking about who i worked with that day [believe me, my husband has listened to me jab about it for two weeks]. i would highly recommend any and all of the vendors [see at the bottom of the blog].
three) okay, just a few more things i loved about this day:
-cynthia’s family is from argentina and they ripped up the dance floor (see dancing photos below)
– the flowers were to die for.
– the bridal party was so friendly [and loved their champs!]
– the single ladies played an argentinian game [their version of a bouquet toss…see photos of reception]
– jonathan surprised his bride by playing guitar and singing her a song he had wrote for her.

mr. & mrs. kozaczuk, i wish the best for starting your new life in vancouver b.c. and i am so honored to have captured the day that you will tell your grandchildren about.
