my rainy overcast days in canada consisted of walking miles around stanley park, snuggling in my warm room at the hyatt vancouver, shopping on robson street and eating amazing food. unfortunately, i couldn’t see the mountain range more than five minutes out of four days. i visited the vancouver aquarium and fell in love with the otters. overall my experience in canada was lovely, but unoriginal. [i dont enjoy being in countries where i feel like i am in america.] however the food in vancouver is undeniably scrumptous. if you ever, ever, ever go to vancouver, eat at grain restaurant and ask for their spicy bbq kettle chips with sour cream dip and a canadian red truck beer and call it the best meal you ever had. or perhaps order the cheese board with a pinot noir. or their lamb sandwich with spicy caesar salad. incredible. next stop in canada i hope to galavant around the french province of quebec and do a tour of celine dion’s childhood.
you would do a tour of celine dion’s childhood. ;o)
let’s do montreal together.
ahhh…robson street!
and finally…i adore your jellyfish.
Yes, I’ve heard two things about Vancouver. One, it’s beautiful. Two, it’s a foodie paradise. It’s totally on my list. Thanks for the foodie tip. I could go for some of those kettle chips right about NOW.
