there is something about mary. literally. there is something about her boldness. wit. humor. smile. down-to-earth midwest spirit. if you have ever known or worked with mary, you know that she is definitely unlike anyone you have ever met. i met mary in {2006} while working at a restaurant in orange county. outside of work, we were able to get to know one another by lounging out by the pool in newport beach on hot summer afternoons. and following the day off with mango margaritas on the beach. bliss. for this session, we reunited in newport at the exact location where we spent those summer days years ago. our mutual friend, trishie, came along for the ride to help out. and of course, to eat at our favorite joint on the beach. mango margarita on the rocks with salt please. check.
