“I’m not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world” – Mary Anne Radmacher
Throughout the last twelve years, I have been able to capture individuals from Shanghai to Chicago to Mumbai to Castle Rock and cities in between. I have ventured to 30 countries, lived in three of them, and explored forty states. My passion for exploration, travel and photography fills my soul.
My art is based on movement and human connection.
My photography is inspired by my unquenchable desire to explore the world and meet its people. My art began while i was living in South Korea in 2010. Photographing in Asia introduced me to an amazing array of people from all over the world.
The first wedding I ever photographed was in South Korea. I barely spoke the language. After successfully surviving that experience, I truly believe that photographing families from all over the world comes a lot easier to me than straightening my hair.
After working in Asia, I relocated to the Bay Area, then to Shanghai and then to Colorado where I have engaged in twelve-years of international portrait and wedding photography. I have photographed in India, Mexico, Korea, China, France, Scotland, Spain and the US, including Hawaii. I have been featured on BBC Travel, Martha Stewart Weddings, Junebug Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, Shutterfly’s Best San Francisco Wedding Photographers, Huffington Post, to name a few.
My goal is to photograph someone on every continent.
On a typical day-off, you can find me sipping a Diet Coke, hanging with my lil girls Penny and Florence while dreaming of which country will give me my next stamp in my passport.
