part two of our trip to el nido, philippines. this one is a bit shorter than the first post on apulit island.
this was our complimentary adventure since our little mix-up on apulit. little did we know that miniloc would hold the secret-boat-ride-passageway to a super secluded private island that would make all of our beach dreams come true. private cabanas, a bar with filipino-pepper-margaritas and the water all to us. one day, i was in the water for over three hours with never getting out. just using sign language to message to tk to “bring me another, please!”
i didn’t photograph much of this island. it could because i over-photographed the first. or it could simply be because there were two super cool couples we made friends with – one from australia and one from united kingdom – and whom we wanted to protect from a crazy man from new orleans that was spreading tons of bad rumors about the usa. not everyone owns a gun! not everyone treats the bartender terribly! not everyone has that “let’s drink and argue about whose country is better” rage. anyway, i didn’t photograph much.
in short, the second island[s] were insane. summer storms are my dream.
and i am proud to say that jason bourn also was jumping off the cliffs here too. and that’s my dream too.
