i met brian & shawn on a super chilly, foggy august evening. we met to have a practice-round before their upcoming wedding. if you have been my bride & groom before, you know that i insist on practice sessions. whether or not they come in a form of engagement photos or just playing around, i make it my goal to photograph each couple before their big day. so here we are at baker beach. playing around in the cold sand, the brisk air, and the marshmallow sky. brian & shawn are the poster children for candid photography. some couples are great at posing and being instantaneous models. others, like brian & shawn, are so genuine that their personalities exude any pose and their natural connection speaks for itself. i yearn for this quality in my couples.
