san diego engagement | michael & brynn

michael and brynn were super nice enough to allow me to bring another photographer with me to their engagement shoot. david, a los angeles based videographer, wanted to learn a few things about the photography side of the camera and how an engagement session plays out. so we met at starbucks in carlsbad for my traditional pre-session iced cappucinno to talk camera settings before heading out to oceanside to meet the lovely couple. not only were they patient while the two of us jabbed about cameras, they also were down to trash the engagement. best clients ever! we shot around michael’s backyard where his t-model was hanging out at. i can’t wait to incorporate this vintage car in their wedding photos this upcoming december. we eventually strolled down the coast to encinitas where we stopped at a local popular coffee shop before chasing the sun at the beach. and what was to follow is pure romantic bliss.

brynn & michael, i’m so excited to photograph you saying your vows in december. and david, you were awesome to spend the afternoon with – and thanks for buying me a post-session cheeseburger.

[that's david]
